Crafted in Limoges, France, this hard-paste porcelain set features delicate, sprawling swags of soft pink flowers, trailing lavender-tinted vines, and a beautifully scalloped, embossed border. The handle is accented with rich, hand-applied brushed gold. The bottom of the pieces features two distinct authentic backstamps: the green underglaze "Haviland France" stamp and the reddish-brown decorating stamp reading "Haviland & Co. Limoges," firmly dating this set's production between 1894 and 1931.
