Vintage Gift Plus Fine Porcelain Tea Cup & Saucer, Large 4" Trumpet Cup, Gray Feather Pattern Gold Gilt Trim, Heart Shaped Palette Saucer
$30.00
Playfully elegant, these large, rare teacups (or coffee cups) from Gift Plus (vintage fine porcelain) are in excellent condition. There are two sets SOLD INDIVIDUALLY.
Unlike the common miniature demitasse sizes, these are full-sized statement cups standing at a striking 4 inches tall. Crafted with marvelous attention to detail, each footed trumpet-shaped cup features a dramatically fluted, flared rim paired with a beautiful openwork gold-gilt heart-shaped handle. The pure white porcelain body is delicately adorned with a muted, wispy gray-and-silver feather motif. The matching saucers are crafted into a gorgeous, organic painter's palette (perfect to hold your biscotti!) or stylized asymmetrical heart shape, featuring a dedicated indentation to hold the footed base securely. The bottom of each cup features the authentic gold "Gift Plus Fine Porcelain" hallmark backstamp. Accented with fine gold rim striping, these rare large duos are exceptional collector's items.
These would make a perfect bridal shower gift, Mother's Day gift, or tea party addition!
Tea Cup Height: 4.0 inches
Cup Rim Diameter: Approx. 4 inches
Saucer: Approx. 5.5 inches long x 4.75 inches wide
Capacity: Comfortably holds 6 to 7 fluid ounces (perfect for tea, or coffee)
Excellent Vintage Condition: No chips, cracks, structural repairs, or crazing. The interior glazes remain brilliant white, glossy, and clean. The gold gilding on the heart handles and rims shows little to no vintage wear.
